All Is Fair In Love (And Planning For A Wedding)
"There's so many vendors so you can look at different photographers and different bakeries and resorts to look at for honeymoons and it's just kind of nice because everyone's here at once."
One of those stops was The Fountains Ballroom, where a lot of brides were asking a lot of questions. “They're all looking for something different, they want a different design or they want to have everything be easy for them and that's what we can bring to the table for them,” said the ballroom’s Mari Beth Yaksich.
Tables were dressed with satin, jewels, china and crystals. Like all the vendors, the best was on display to help brides plan their day.
"That's the first thing they need to find, of course, is their venue and then it goes from there, but with us we can actually do everything for them, DJ, video, floral. The only thing they need to find with us is food,” said Yaksich.
There are two other bridal fairs scheduled in the metro on Sunday, February 20th. One will be at the Embassy Suites in La Vista and the other at DC Centre in Omaha.
What is the "rule" for having black bridesmaids dresses for a summer wedding?
I was thinking of knee length dresses. Black strapless with a purple sash. Would this be improper for say a 2 pm summer wedding?
I think it would be cute... I don't personally know if there is a "rule" against it... most of the time summer is a bit darker than spring bridesmaids colors and darker is more acceptable later in the year...
