After losing her husband of over 20 years, a family member is remarrying next month. The man she is remarrying had also lost his wife around the same time.
They are having a small, family-only ceremony and reception and ask that we do not bring gifts.
I find it difficult to NOT give them something- considering what they have been through and how wonderful it is that they found happiness after such great loss.
